Sales Policy:

Goats

We are currently maintaining a waitlist and can keep track of your preferences and do our best to match our animals them. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to hold/reserve an available goat. We accept Venmo, Zelle and Paypal. Dam-raised kids are available for pickup or delivery between 6 and 8 weeks of age. If kids are  bottle fed, they can be available sooner.  Any reserved kid or adult must be paid in full at the time of pickup. If the animal is not paid for by the agreed pickup date, any previous payments will be forfeited and not refunded.

Goats are herd animals. We prefer to sell kids as pairs, unless you own similar-aged kids already. We will not sell only one goat unless you have other goats. Discounts on three or more or for bonded pairs.

All kids will be disbudded (unless polled), and all females will be registered. Bucklings can be wethered depending on the timing of their departure.

Animals are sold in as-is condition. You have the right to have any animal you purchase examined, on our property by a Veterinarian, at your expense prior to pick up. If, at this pre-purchase exam, the vet finds the kid to be unsound any deposits will be refunded.  Stress can happen to any goat, and we are not responsible for any illness, injury medical treatments/bills or care of the goats once they leave Sweet Dreams Acres.  The dams and sire have all been tested for Johns/CL/CAE. Results of that testing are available upon request as are the pedigrees.

Donkeys

Our foals are imprinted at birth and handled daily. Foals are weaned between 4-6 months of age. They are used to wearing a halter, tying, & having their feet handled.  All donkeys sold will come up to date on vaccinations, worming, & hoof care. A 30% deposit will hold your foal until weaning. The balance will need to be paid for before or at pick up. Deposits are non-refundable unless an unexpected health problem occurs before the donkey is picked up.  If coggins & health certificates are needed, the cost is the responsibility of the buyer. Transportation costs and arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer.
